'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' writer Abhishek Makwana gave up the ghost last week thanks to suicide

In a shocking turn of events, a well-liked television program , Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s writer named, Abhishek Makwana gave up the ghost last week thanks to suicide. consistent with his family, they alleged that he was a victim of cyber fraud and blackmail.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the police officials say that Abhishek in his suicide note that was written in Gujarati mentioned ‘financial troubles’ and also said that he had been facing over the past many months however, it doesn't reveal more details, said the police. In his note, Abhishek also apologized to his family and as said that he tried his best to handle things , however, he couldn't roll in the hay any more as his issues were only increasing.

After his demise, his family has been getting calls from the fraudsters demanding to pay all the cash back since the family was allegedly made guarantors during a loan by Abhishek.

The police in Charkop have registered an accidental death record after Abhishek Makwana, was found hanging in his flat during a Kandivali building on November 27, 2020. Abhishek’s brother Jenis revealed that his brother’s emails he acknowledged about the cyber load sharks. “I checked my brother’s mails because ever since he gave up the ghost , I got multiple phone calls from different numbers demanding to be paid back loans he owed someone. One call was variety registered in Bangladesh, one in Myanmar et al. were from different states of India,” said Jenis.

Jenis said that from his email he understood that his brother took alittle loan from one among the ‘easy loan’ apps that charge a really high rate of interest. “I checked out the transactions between them and my brother closely then . I noticed that they kept sending small amounts despite my brother not applying for the loans. Their interest rates are as high as 30 percent.”

As per the texts on Abhishek’s phone, it shows that he was being blackmailed and therefore the blackmailed stated that if he didn't repay him they might share the knowledge together with his friends, said Jenis.

The policeman said that Abhishek’s family has shared the numbers of the fraudsters and can take an action against the alleged fraud company.
