Actress Iffat Omar has been severely criticised on Twitter after pictures and videos during which she will be seen getting vaccinated for coronavirus went viral on social media.

Social media accused the actress of jumping the queue to urge vaccinated when more deserving citizens still need to wait. 

For now, only persons aged 60 years and above can get the free vaccine under the govt drive, while those aged 50 can thus far only register for an attempt . there's no commercially available vaccine against the coronavirus in Pakistan yet. 

The actress are often seen during this video, getting vaccinated alongside Federal Minister for Housing and Works Tariq Bashir Cheema and what appears to be a couple of of his relatives, at the minister's residence.



Cheema denied accusations that he had been vaccinated against the virus from the government's stock, consistent with a report travel by Geo News. 

He claimed that a team from the University of Health Sciences (UHS) had received his residence to administer a 'booster shot' of a 'trial vaccine'.

The minister said an equivalent team had earlier administered the primary dose of the trial vaccine to his family at their residence.

Iffat Omar tweeted an equivalent Geo TV report, telling people to "take it easy".

A month earlier, an identical incident happened when the daughter and son-in-law of former Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair were seemingly vaccinated during a flagrant violation of rules, triggering a political blame game between the Centre and therefore the provincial government.

“I don't have anything to try to to with this nor did I ask anyone for the favour,” Zubair had said.

HDFC's digital banking services face glitch, bank says working to resolve the difficulty soon

After some HDFC Bank customers complained via social media that they were unable to access bank accounts, the bank has said it's looking into the difficulty . "Some of our customers face intermittent issues while accessing net banking or mobile banking app. We are looking into it on priority for resolution. We apologise for the inconvenience and request you to undertake again after a while ," the bank tweeted today.

This is not the primary time that HDFC customers face a service outage. The bank has been penalised by the Federal Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for 2 major outages within the past. One happened in November 2018 and therefore the other in December 2019.

Taking a stern view of the repeated outages, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das had said that HDFC Bank has got to strengthen its IT system before expanding further.

The RBI had also temporarily barred HDFC Bank from launching new digital banking initiatives and issuing new credit cards. in sight of service outages over the last two years.

HDFC Bank has been classified as a systemically important entity by the RBI within the past. The bank is additionally the most important issuer of credit cards. It had 1.49 crore customers as of September 2020 while on the debit cards front, it had 3.38 crore customers.

Meanwhile, HDFC Bank has recently submitted an idea to prevent repeated glitches in its technology platform. This includes both short and long-term solutions, which can take up to 3 months to implement.

Apologising to customers for disruptions, HDFC Bank new CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan in January had said the bank was performing on war footing to strengthen its systems.

Meanwhile, the share of HDFC Bank was trading up 3.33 per cent or Rs 49.70 at Rs 1,541 on the NSE today.

A fire broke call at a compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express on Saturday. The incident happened in Uttarakhand near the Kansro area. the hearth broke call at the C4 compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express, thanks to a brief circuit. No injuries reported.



As reported by sources to NDTV, “Guard has informed that each one passengers are safe and therefore the fire brigade was informed. a complete of 35 passengers within the coach were shifted and adjusted in other coaches. The train has departed for the destination.”



The fire which broke call at the C4 compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express train today has been brought in check . All the passengers were safely evacuated from the train.

Uttarakhand DGP Kumar said the train has reached Dehradun.

Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) chief Kamal Haasan will contest the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections from the Coimbatore South constituency, the party announced on Friday.

The actor-turned-politician had earlier in the week announced that MNM will contest on 154 out of 234 assembly seats. Haasan said the party left the remaining 80 seats for its two alliance partners -- All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK) and Indhiya Jananayaga Katchi – which will contest on 40 seats each.

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is ready to contest within the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly polls. The founding father of Makkal Needhi Maiam are going to be contesting the elections from Coimbatore South. Haasan made the announcement today while releasing his party’s second list of candidates.

DMK and AIADMK have allotted the Coimbatore South constituency to their allies Congress and BJP. Haasan are going to be taking over Congress and BJP within the upcoming assembly polls.

Remembering his late father Sreenivasan, Haasan expressed confidence that the people of his constituency would enable him to voice his views within the assembly by voting for him. “My father’s dream was I should become an IAS officer then enter politics. Though I couldn't realise his dream (of becoming an IAS officer), my party comprises many (former) IAS officers. that's a proud moment for us,” he told reporters

The MNM is in alliance with the Indhiya Jananayaga Katchi (IJK) and fellow actor Sarathkumar’s All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK). Both the parties will contest in 40 seats. It had secured around 4 per cent votes within the 2019 Lok Sabha election, with its share going as high as 10 per cent within the urban pockets.

Kamal Haasan has launched Makkal Needhi Maiam in 2018. they're the earliest to hit the campaign trail. they're raising subjects like corruption, jobs, developing villages, and e-governance. Also promised salaries to homemakers and free computers with internet to all or any homes.

The Tamil Nadu Assembly elections are scheduled to be persisted April 6 and therefore the results are going to be announced on May 2.
