Appelate Court Rejects State Governments Plea Against Salman Khan in Black Buck Case
Superstar Salman Khan has been awarded relief by the Jodhpur District and Sessions Court. it's dismissed the plea of the State* Government, it had been alleged that Salman Khan had presented a false affidavit in reference to Arms Act. Govt’s plea was earlier dismissed by the inferior court .
Salman Khan appeared before the Jodhpur Session court for the hearing linked to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. thanks to the Covid-19 scare, the hearing happened via video conferencing. Now consistent with ANI’s latest report, the actor possesses relief within the fake affidavit case.
Salman Khan’s lawyer Hastimal Saraswat states that the Court has dismissed both the pleas of the government , during a detailed order. He added that that they had replied in 2006 itself that no false affidavits were presented and such pleas are being furnished only to disturb Salman Khan
A trial court in 2018 had convicted Salman Khan. He was awarded five-year imprisonment for allegedly killing the Black Bucks. The incident happened during the shooting of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain in October 1998. The actor was amid Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam. But they were acquitted. Salman had challenged the court verdict within the sessions court.
The Bharat star had to remain two days in Jodhpur prison after which he was granted bail. The Rajasthan Government had appealed against the supreme court order of staying the conviction of the actor.
